    Jesus Christ. You're right, let's be as stats-based as we can and sing songs to our players like it's their workplace annual review. 'Saturday night afternoon and I like the way you move, Daniel Kanu. Is currently in decent scoring form but before that has struggled to get himself on the scoresheet as much as we'd like. In mitigation he's only 19 and his first 10 games came last season when he was just 18 and being played too early due to poor squad building. Mostly he appeared from the bench sometimes for just a minute so it's stupid to go by games played anyway but regardless we hope he improves his scoring record at this level and that his recent record is evidence of ongoing improvement rather than temporary good form. DANIEL KANUUUU!'

    Yeah, rolls off the tongue that does.
    The speed we sing our songs at, young Daniel could score a goal and we could do two renditions of your ditty before the players are back at the halfway line.

    What about 3 in the first 30 games.
    No you're right, nobody should ever ever exaggerate in a football song.

    But Charlie wasn't really better than Yashin & Matt Tees wasn't better than Eusebio & Millwall certainly weren't in for a thrashing but it didn't stop us singing it  :D
