MODmag Issue #13

Valley_Jessy_Raphael
edited February 2024 in General Charlton
Hello everyone.

Quick FYI in case you're interested... MODmag's latest/twelfth edition is now available to buy online.

It's 56 pages of Charlton-ness, featuring exclusive interviews with Andy Reid, Shaun Bartlett and Micky Apples. Plus Ben Ransom speaks to Dean Holden. And there are articles on Alfie May, Pierre Bolangi, The Rose of Denmark and the Panenka (amongst others).

Get yours for four quid here: https://www.modmag.co.uk/product/my-only-desire-issue-12/21

There are loads of half price back issues too.

UTA!

Cheers,
Steve - MODmag Features Editor

PS Not only are we the FSA's 2022 Fanzine of the Year, we've just been nominated for the 2023 prize too. So it's a decent read (promise...).

Very disappointed. Not a single Lambretta or parker to be seen!
  • Cheers, Mr. Ramones!

And big love to you as ever, Paulo.

We'll try and fit some Fred Perry polo shirts with the top button done up in #13, Rizz...

Nickname was used at other clubs before he came here.

Appleton isn't bothered about it either way.

Better than the nickname "clueless prat"

*Yeah still annoyed about the Cray Valley game.

  • The best way to show your anger about the 'Micky Apples' thing is by buying one or more copies of Issue #12, @JohnnyH2.

Might also be on sale in the museum on Friday if they drop them off in time.

We also have nearly all the back issues on sale bar No.1

Some great photos provided by the museum, mainly from the Tom Morris, archive plus an article from one of the museum trustees that will be porn to some of you weirdos as it's about CAFC and Charlton train station.

Shame the Pod doesn't happen as often as it did, unless I am missing something.. It was a very good listen.

Now on sale in the museum but no pies or free tickets.

Interesting interview with Jerome Thomas, quite different from what I expected.

Top ten collectable Charllton badges was good  ;)
