I wonder what that was when I drove past it on Saturday. At least someone's trying to be patriotic. Are landlords doing the same outside their pubs or is it only St Patrick's day that happens 🤔.
I took this back in 2015... running one side of London bridge to the other nearly getting myself knocked over in the rush. Popped up on my FB memories today.
Patron saint of Catalunya so huge in this part of Spain. They treat it as a Catalan St Valentine's day so been out buying roses for the female members of the family. I'm supposed to get a book in return! happy St George's day.

England also share St George with Venice, Genoa, Portugal and Ethiopia (although I’m not sure if they share the day???)
Not quite the St George's flag but I saw an old fella shoving BNP flyers through letterboxes in Todmorden this morning. Somebody is patriotic in darkest West Yorkshire.

We are not perfect us English, but we do have a lot to be proud of and are sons and daughters of perhaps the most outstanding generation of people ever to be born.
Got lumbered with looking after my local church's flag. As a atheist it feels weird but it would have meant a lot to my dad. On days like today it is nice.
