    Same goes for me. Saw him play with Shellac in Barcelona about 20 years ago. Blistering stuff. Then they did Q&A afterwards. 

    Sad day indeed.

    Shocked by this. Was a time I was buying LPs purely on the basis of Albini engineering it. 61 is no age at all. RIP Steve.

    A lot of great times spent with East Terrace watching, listening, laughing and dancing to Steve Albini. My guitar hero (one of them at least) - produced Seamonsters, again a lot of good times listening to those songs played live with East Terrace ... RIP Steve, life was eventful.
