there are also engineering works on the essex lines, Southend & co take note.
  • Ok, I'm being dim here- there a two routes that do Charlton to Central London, one via Blackheath, which i know is knackered, and the other one, via Westcombe park (i think) Are the trains running on this line, or is it a walk to North Greenwich?
  • Im assuming the loop train from Sidcup to Greewich will still be OK then?

Sounds as if the Greenwich line is ok - whcih probably means the engineering work is in the Blackheath tunnel or thereabouts.

*grabs well-thumbed timetable and heads for the end of platforms 5/6 at London Bridge*

Ketters, spoke to And last night and the consensus was to meet at Strood station at a reasonble time and all jump on through from there
  • Not many people travel through Bexleyheath to get to Charlton anyway.

So i can't see it affecting many people.
  • Heres where they take place so basically everyone coming from london is screwed. Nice one!!

Right I'll be on the 10.14am from Gillingham that stops off at 10.25am at Strood (Carter/Carlsberg) which then stops at 10.46am at Dartford (WSS) before arriving at our destination Charlton at 11.04am. So should be able to meet MCS & friends in pub for about 11.15am. Everybody OK with that ?
  • Im out in Central London after game.

Is Charlton to Lon Bridge affected?

    crap, didn't think about that.
if it is, we're going to have to jump on jubilee line.
in fact, we're going to kilburn, so that suits us!

if you're out in central london you can get jubilee to bond street/green park can't you? or get off at london bridge?
