    Sad to see it. Can't see that they'd have got out of the third tier without him. They seemed to have been grumbling most of last season. When you look at their squad you wonder where they think they can go. Still we all have seen shocking football from managers, just thought they'd give him a bit more time. Not very intelligent from the directors when the transfer window closes.

    No surprise, he has been under pressure for a long time and if Barnsley fans had their way he would have gone last season. Just a shame for Davey as came across as a nice guy and did take them to within 90mins of a cup final
