That’s really weird isn’t it!  I’ll be interested to see how this one pans out

Both clubs getting as much money as they can before the ban comes into force in 2026.

Will be interesting to see how long these last. I remember Norwich had one a couple of years ago that the fan pressure forced them to backtrack and cancel the deal , they ended up signing a deal with Lotus again.

The sooner the ban on gambling on front of shirts happens, the better

This is Robots.Dao all over again, but on a much larger scale. If only there was a regulatory body in football that could look into shady deals like this and put a stop to them

Do we have to have a reason to throw Palace out the league?

That Twitter/X stream is worth a read. Betting sites with no interest in getting UK punters, completely aimed at Asia. I suppose we can ask what is wrong with that, but there you go. Anyway, I've got an accumulator going on the 3.30 cockfight at Bien Hoa so better pay some attention to that.

Their recent kits haven't been bad, but that's awful!

They are determined to try to look like Barcelona.
Have they got Catalan and proud on the back of the shirt.

Imagine looking at something that appears to be a set of pyjamas that someone has vomited over, and describing it as ‘impressive’

We are currently being engaged by a HK based Crypto online gaming / casino. They actually questioned themselves the validity of sponsoring an entity in an unregulated territory.... its a hell of a lot of wastage. But I guess they dont care if they waste 75% of their budget, if the 25% that does return reaches more people than the other option.

Company sounds incredibly dodgy, no UK website presence until last week and they only joined Twitter/X this week. 140ish followers currently for a company sponsoring a premier league side.

As mentioned in opening post, Farnell seems to be involved. If he is, this guy is just relentless with continuing to be on the wrong side of what is good for football. @PragueAddick good to see the Charlton Dossier still being useful to show up people like Farnell.

I’m really surprised that Steve Parrish would get involved with a company like that and with someone like Farnell involved but I would imagine they are getting desperate for investment as each year the stakes just go up and up and they also want to redevelop the ground. What’s more surprising is someone that made his money from graphic services and advertising would approve that kit!

Kit is horrendous and I guess the sponsorship is the last chance to have the dodgy Asian bookies money before that's banned next season? Still wouldn't be surprised if the Palace fans force a rethink though.

At the very least, Palace have to come out with an explanation, and if they believe the company is all above board, can say that.

Net88 have released a statement on their new Twitter page. I have noticed all there quotes and statements have been from the Net88 team, not from a named person. You'd expect an owner or CEO to say a few words if they are that excited by the new deal.

I very much doubt it Marcus. Despite all those banners, "football for fans"/"fans over profit" etc. it's just wanabee posturing from that lot. They'll keep quite and take the money, cause they know they need it.

Yeah I was hoping for something like the Norwich situation a couple of years back where the fans forced them to walk back a sponsorship with BK8 and they ended up with Lotus back on the front of their shirts like they had in the past.

Of course I get that no one is going to compete with the kind of figures these bookmakers are willing to spend on sponsorship but I thought given how much a certain fanbase love to go on about Football For Fans and their dislike of Sky Sports that they'd be all over this one.

Totally agree. It will definitely be interesting to see if they pipe up in this one!
