    Think only issue is one of fitness because he's not had a full playing season for a while. 

    But definitely has the quality to push us on at this level.

    wow!!!
    last season he started 2 games and came on as a sub in 15 and on the bench for 16 games and averaged 17 minutes a game.

    I am assuming the new kit this season will be a nod to the vintage kit he has been wearing through out all the reveal photography/videos

    Think this is fair, however, with both of those they were coming off of seasons where they hadn't play much and/or were noticeably slowing down. I know Barry has had injuries, but there isn't the red blinking light like there was with Watson and Arter, at least on the surface. I don't think Barry is a Prem quality player if not for the fact Luton got a surprise promotion, but I think he could still find work in the Championship.

    I don't love signing outfield players over 30, however, I do feel like it takes all types and you can't just sign promising 19-24 year olds.

    I'm pleased with this. Provides goals from midfield which we lacked last season. Seems to have a good engine too.

    Retro kits with new signings seems a good way of plugging the upcoming launch of the new retro kits range, whilst waiting for our new kits to arrive. (Robins Retro must be gutted)

    This. Box to box is the one role where you worry about legs going a couple years earlier. He's always relied on energy and the ability to get up and down the pitch. If he still has that he will be great. If it's starting to desert him it'll be downhill pretty quick.

    I had to look this up but Ben Watson played 45 league games for forest the season before he joined us! I assume he was suspended for the other one. No one at the club played more games. Incredible really. On paper it seemed a good signing at the time.

    Very good signing on the face of it, a regular impact sub in the Premier league dropping down to league one at the age of 31 doesn't happen often should be very good at this level. Interested to see if NJ plays him as the more advanced 10 in midfield or the deeper 8 alongside Coventry as the 6.

    I think he'll be played as a 4.

    If we want to be in the top 6 this season from the get go, the Attacking midfielder, called the number 10 in the vernacular needs to be getting a dozen goals + in the mediocre League 1.

    Where in midfield has Luke played most of his career ?
    76 goals in 411matches from the Conference to Premier, including every division on his way suggests that Berry has been an attacking midfielder as he has a goal every 5 games.

    32 next month, but no reason with all the sports science around he can't hit the ground running 🤞🏻

    Unfortunately others of a similar age struggled with the running: Ben Watson, Gunter and Harry Arter in the Autumn of their successful careers. 🤷🏻‍♂️

    £2.75 for a pack of berries, or a pack of chocolate for a quid. This is why people (me) are fat. 

    Anyway, I hope he's more Darren Pratley (but a bit better) rather than Ben Watson. 

    I remember the talk of Ben Watson being 'too good for League1' and well..

    I have a better feeling this time though, welcome Berry :)

    I think it's a statement of intent from our owners that they're prepared to authorise a payment of £2.75 for a pack of mixed berries as a teaser before a new signing is unveiled.

    Hopefully, the Portugal goalkeeper Quim is also on our radar.

    The only thing that has me slightly wary is that Elliott Lee came with a lot praise from Luton and he was okay at best for us, looking forward to seeing him play however, hopefully with another top midfielder for this level & Coventry, who I rate highly
