Callumcafc said:"Lessons learned about recruitment?""Learned about the process around it - new chief scout, new head of recruitment, more analysts, data scientists... started to create a whole department around it"1
-
"Who will be the captain next season?""No idea. I could guess but that would be wrong of me to do so."0
-
"Where will we finish next year? How difficult will the league be next year?""Some teams bounce back immediately, some struggle, it will be exciting, can't wait. We are a big team in this league, we have to make the Valley a fortress and make others worry about us."0
-
"Exciting season coming up for the women's team?""Really looking forward to making the Valley their permanent home, looking forward to seeing them play and it'll be an exciting league"0
-
"Any last words?""Proof of pudding will be in the results. We want to make the supporters proud."0
-
Is this it? 30 minutes of Naff All.0
-
Brief break to watch a pre-recorded interview with Nathan Jones. Then a chat with Methven and Carter.0
-
oh Metheven next and then Carter0
-
One thing Rodwell said worth remembering is that the 'proof of the pudding' will be judged from the first game in August.1

We are trying to to sign this Jamaican player.0
-
"Charlie congrats on your appointment""Very proud, mixture of pride and trepidation ... been some time in the planning, determined not to impose a vision on Charlton ... took time talking and listening to understand club DNA ... starting to execute the plan, now we know what we want to do and the other owners came to the decision"0
-
Metheven - must have a degree in bullshit3
-
"Gavin how have the last six months been as a fan?""Time goes quick ... January time was a concern, a lot of frustration ... delighted able to get Nathan in ... immediately saw his class, everything after the Reading game ... he doesn't stop, offseason, interviewing players ..." Charlie: "never seen a manager that works as hard as Nathan does"0
-
Trying to summarise all the words coming out of Charlie's mouth is going to be a challenge!9
-
Now a reminder of Carter's presentation from January and reassessing where we are against that six months later... talk about what's being built, the investment in the pitch and safe standing given as examples.0

if they say Jones is a top manager enough times then maybe we will all believe it0
-
Methven criticising others for too many words.3
-
Lots of chat about the plans from 6-12 months ago being put into action - in house club shop given as another example, new fan zone, online improvements...0

Do people know the England match is on?0

I’ve learned this evening that they already want out, and open to selling the club, welcoming offers……
The grim reality of the ££££££’s needed to even stand still owning CAFC ……4 -
"Update with regard to purchasing the Valley and Sparrows Lane?""Thorny topic ... we are with the fans here, we weren't the ones who separated the assets from the club ... the first thing is about security of tenure, we need to make sure Charlton can play here medium to long term ... whether that means buying or a long lease extension ... having a short term lease is a challenge because you're effectively spending money on someone else's house and they can raise the rent after you've made any improvements... ongoing talks with the landlord to ensure the Valley remains long term home of Charlton Athletic ... there have been initial conversations and it's something we will pursue with all of our mighty because we want to make sure Charlton is playing at the Valley for as long as we can"0

"Losing the Valley would be a tragedy not just for Charlton but for football in general"1
-
"Can we expect more safe standing?""Yes ... if the initial trial is successful, yes. We'd love a big bank of terracing"2

For those not watching, Charlie has just ripped his shirt buttons open, fist bumping a tattooed badge on his torso and started singing “Oxford are massive, everywhere we go”19
