does this weeks televised game against brentford, offer up a possible banana skin, after our unexpected but superb start to the season. am i being over pessimistic or do we tend to come a cropper when the whole worlds watching, well, er...the valley faithful at least?

    We had won 12 "on the spin" as Curbs would say in 1999/2000 before our home fixture with bottom of the table Swindon.

    We lost it 1-0!

    I think Carrick's goal was in the away game nearer the start of the season - whilst we deservedly won that game, Carrick did look a class apart as an individual player.

    I remember that game, one of the only big mistakes Kiely made. And we just couldn't score from what I remember?

    We gave Willie Carson a cheque for £2000 on the pitch at H/T so the Swindon youth team could play in a tournament in Northern Ireland that our youth team also played in. I remember he said that he would like the 3 points aswell...and he got them
