I was worried for him when he hitched his wagon to Nigel Pearson. Pearson is definitely making his way down the leagues. His football doesn't tend to be great, and he seems really irritable so I wonder if this is his last Championship job, or if he gets a firefighting job at some point.Curb_It said:Left Bristol city along with Pearson. Hoping Euell can find a coaching job somewhere else that leads to a managerial job. He's one that, 2-3 years down the road I wouldn't mind seeing him back here, but he needs to go and learn his trade elsewhere first. He spent a long time here, did well developing younger players, more questionable results with the first team (where he wasn't in control), but he seems to be a good coach.1 -

Cambridge United are pleased to announce the appointment of Jason Euell as Assistant Head Coach…
The 47-year-old former player has joined Garry Monk’s coaching staff as Assistant Head Coach, alongside Barry Corr, following the departure of Kevin Betsy earlier in the week.
After a distinguished playing career where he made his name as a forward at Wimbledon and Charlton, Euell transitioned to coaching in 2012 and spent eight-years with the Addicks as U16s Lead Coach at first, before being promoted to U23s Lead Coach, and then as First Team Coach.
During his time with Charlton, he helped with the development of a number of players, including the likes of Ezri Konsa, Ademola Lookman and Joe Aribo, among others.
Euell has also coached with England U18s and U20s, whilst his most recent role was at Bristol City, working alongside Nigel Pearson.
“I am very pleased and looking forward to the challenge," Euell said. "Knowing that I am coming to a Club that is ambitious and doing things the right way, it's a fantastic opportunity for myself.
"It's a good time of year to be joining, as we progress through pre-season. I can't wait to get to work and to get to know all of the players and staff."

Good luck to him, big fan of Euell and would have given him the Charlton job a couple of times rather than some of the absolute shite we ended up with.
I’m surprised that he’s not had a crack at the top job somewhere
