Pictures have been revealed of the newly proposed development of The Valley.

The plans, yet to be revealed, show rebuilt Jimmy Seed and Alan Curbishley stands, as well as extensive tree planting in the existing car park in order to support the reversal of global climate change.

As part of the development, Maryon Wilson Park will be extended to the back of the old East Terrace, and Valiant House will receive a facelift.

Exciting time ahead.

We were made aware of these developments as they mean moving the museum to a much bigger space in the West Stand.

As you say, exciting times ahead if planning permission is granted.  Funding not seen as a problem.

There will be trees instead of a carpark and the players are training on bikes in Slovenia as they will be expected to cycle into the Valley of dreams.

    Every day's a fool's day.

Hang on, as far as I'm aware we don't even own The Valley?

  • I heard Maryon Wilson park was being extended onto the pitch, with the animals free to roam.

It should make for a more open game, and is seen as a potential marginal gain and strategic advantage ahead of the new season.

My mother was born in Charlton Park Lane. As a young girl in the 1930s, she would see and talk to the players like Sam Bartram as they walked to the ground, boots tied together by the laces and draped over their necks

That's only fair, The Valley pigeons were looking lonely last season.

Is it wearing a bell in case its horns don't work?

    Apologies for the schoolboy humour.

Roland Duchatelet has seen the error of his ways and will leave half his fortune to CAST to oversee the development of the green Valley and the new name of the stadium will reflect his deep affection for his muse.

    The Katrine Miere Valley

Or it's nickname, the Pinocchio Valley.

I knew that vampiric yellow toothed dad dancing coffin dodger would come through in the end. His philanthropy is of course legendary, but the remodelling of one of the most depressing road arteries in Sarf London, and gratis is unexpected to say the least.

A statue, a stand at least should be named after Belgiums first citizen?

Correct but talks are taking place with Duchâtelet family members as we have been told by SMT member 24th Jan this year.

Just totally inept at managing their wealth in the sports arena. Classic nerd does good, makes loads of money with a decent product ahead of its time, builds a great company staffed with highly competent and trusted aides, continues to make more money.

With not enough to do embarks on expensive hobbies to which not well suited. Politics, sport as a business that can be solved, personal trust in senior executives over competence, no fucking understanding of  football fans and club history at all.

Saves personal face by revaluing Valley and Sparrows lane to unrealistic numbers, does deal with criminals, still a millstone around our neck and if we can reunite the assets with the club league right, we would be going back in the right direction.

If this happens, I would be overwhelmed

I think the best bit is the way they have rotated the ground so that the sun doesn't glare into the Covered End lower

Anybody seen the Sky football league advert filmed at the valley. Got a clearly CGI'd away end with the roof the same height as the east and the front fascia the same thickness as the east as well
