Best pubs to meet for The Forum Kentish Town?

I was going to suggest Camden pubs, but are there any recommended pubs near to The Forum?
Only looking to meet and have a couple of beers, not looking to eat.
Looking online the pubs seem to be more about food than drink.

The Southampton Arms is a nice little pub worth a visit. About 2 min walk from the Forum.2

Assembly house or Bull and gate are very close and decent pubs2

If it wasn't for me working in Camden, I'd just avoid it entirely 😂
That said, I like The Worlds End. They play loud rock music, and I generally like the type of character there.
Assembly house is also not bad, not sure if they still do it, but when I was going, it was 2 for 1 on Carling at 4 or 5 quid a pint.
Carling ain't great but I don't drink for the taste.
Have a good time CE1 -
The Bull and Gate is the one I tend to use, although I preferred it as a venue. You can usually get a seat upstairs once you've bought your beers. You can also check out the picture of Taylor Swift in the window of Kentish Delight, which is a few doors down - her favourite kebab shop apparently. (This has probably been posted before but it still makes me laugh!)1
