Now the Main Window Is Closed, Will There be Any More Players In?

I know that Parky has said he is against long term loan deals except for emergencies. Do you think that there is still realistic scope for more players to come in, in the next few weeks?

My personal view, finances willing, is that we need at least one more central defensive cover, maybe a player who can cover full back as well. Llera is a suspension waiting to happen and Sodje clearly is a little short of full fitness.

My ideal would be another "free" agent, somebody like Fortune (presumably with a better contractuual offer).

    I think we are pretty well covered except for injuries/emergencies, but the weakest link is Youga...

    If we were offered a premiership standard left back on loan what would you do - stick with Youga (or Basey) or accept the loan?

    Not unless we get an injury in an area where we are vulnerable....the only place that still looks that way is CB...having a fourth would be good.

    To get Fortune in again, would be fantastic ..... we know what we're getting, and at this level he should look a class above.

    4 centrebacks in Dailly, Llera, Sodje and Fortune is a quality and depth of squad that almost all other Third Division clubs could only dream about.

    The only problem would be keeping them happy if they're not in the 1st team.

    To be fair Youga had a good game last week (except the early booking). He and Bailey were great together and Kelly laid on Sam's second and should have had a pen when clearly tripped in the box. Big Miguel is my worry. Real character but as many others have said a sending off waiting to happen!

    I'd like to see Fortune back but have a feeling it won't happen unless his injury drags on for another month at least. Although some may think i'm mad, i wouldn't mind another forward coming in. Lee Barnard was linked a while back but considering the start to the season he's had, i can't see that happening. To be honest though, i'd love it if we had the same XI all season and were the new 'unbeatables'!
