Tuesday isn't it?0
-
It seems to have disappeared from the schedule.0
-
Ronnie Moore has confirmed it's going ahead. Good enough for me.8

I think the Millwall game will be more of a try out for both teams in an obviously more private context. Charlton have only just returned, and they will be re setting their pre season, Neil Harris will also be sorting his players out.
Previously there has always seemed to be a good relationship between staff at Charlton and Neil Harris (a guy I have met briefly, and liked, and thought of as a proper football man), and I expect the game will have kind of agreed parameters and hopefully won’t be a brutal one. Maybe one with multiple substitutions taking place.
I think the more conventional game will be against Crystal Palace on Friday, although they will be missing a couple of their players who need a rest after the Euros.4 -

I had assumed that the Palace game on Friday 19th was the next one, then Millwall a week from tomorrow on the 23rd followed by Wimbledon on the 27th, spacing the three games out evenly.0

Strange, both on Charlton and Millwall website the game been removed.. believe it is today?1
-
Guess they want to avoid any fans turning up so are keeping it on the low down.1

What time is KO?
Is it at the Toolbox or their training ground?
Might try to blag my way in with my staff pass 😉4 -
I suppose ideally you would want a game where you can try diffrent things out. Maybe have four 40 minute halves instead of two etc... A game where it is all about getting minutes in legs and tweaking things. A game were the score doesn't matter. Maybe that is what this is whereas Palace will be more conventional.0

Are we 3-0 up yet?0

I was advised there will be no lagging my way in today.
For some reason Millwall want this REALLY under wraps3 -
It's a bit weird, both teams have played 2 matches already so surely can't be trying out new tactics. Can only assume they've got a trialist they don't want anyone to know about0

“I’m disappointed with the result because we’re better than the result showed. But, one, you’ve got to score goals and, two, you’ve got to keep them out at the other end. I am generally pleased; these are a Championship side so it shows we’re competing there, but I want us to get better.
"No one has reported any injuries - that's the most important thing really and then you're looking for the physical workout, which we got. Then you're looking for the result, so two out of three ain't bad."

They don’t want the fallout if they said he was injured. Soon find out this Friday if he plays1

Brilliant insight Nath, cheers mate couldn't have possibly worked that one out9 -

Surely you just wouldn't bring up injuries if you didn't want people to know someone was injured, What's the point in saying no one got injured if it's not true3
