Jesus... Its either going to work out very well, or end in tears for Birmingham10
-
Also seem to be heavily targeting players from the Eredivisie. I guess bar Ajax ,PSV and Feyenoord they can blow the rest of the league out the water on wages.2

Knowing Birmingham it will all end in tears!ForeverAddickted said:Jesus... Its either going to work out very well, or end in tears for Birmingham3 -
If the fee is true, I find it disturbing that kind of money is now being spent on one player in league one. Obviously only one club currently doing it, but that's where it starts. Seems like a crazy fee for third division.MarcusH26 said:https://www.bcfc.com/news/all/blues-sign-willum-thor-willumsson

I must admit the fees and probably wages they are spending in general worry me. I hope it's one desperate ownership that just are wanting to throw money at getting straight back , even Sunderland under Charlie weren't spending these kind of fees.3 -
I’ve seen £3.1m which is still bonkers. Takes their spending to around £8m already and they didn’t sell anyone to raise any of thatMarcusH26 said:https://www.bcfc.com/news/all/blues-sign-willum-thor-willumsson

Fancy Brum to have a underwhelming season3

Pretty confident this will end in tears for Birmingham.2

Pretty sure Birmingham will win the league comfortably. Only thing that would stop it is if their manager is rubbish which is possible.

Manager is the big question mark, Davies has an excellent track record as a coach but it's a different thing being a manager. I think a lot of clubs nowadays are hoping they can find the next Kieran McKenna but some will end up like Michael Beale.
Still expecting them to keep on making big signings right to the deadline.

Back to back posts. I want out of this league asap, but do like that League One can be fairly unpredictable and a side like Birmingham with £million signings can be predicted to comfortably win the league and have a disaster to end in tears.Athletico Charlton said:Pretty sure Birmingham will win the league comfortably. Money alone doesn't guarantee promotion as Tommy "top 6 budget" Sandgaard found out.
They wouldn't be the first team to throw money at players and it come to nothing.1 -
Another one for Birmingham and another fee
