    Brentford look reasonably organised in midfield, worth mentioning as they are the first team I've seen this season who are so.

    It was one of those goals that you dream of watching, Charlton in control, passing the ball around, pulling the Brentford defence around like a predatory lion toying with a cornered antelope. imaginative, skilful and thoroughly effective.

    Sam controlled the ball with subtle panache, beating the Brentford centerback with a dash and just a touch off his left foot leaving only the goalkeeper to beat.

    Sublime.

    Commentator on CATV made a very good point, all but two of our outfield players have actually cost any money, the rest were all free transfers or came through the youth system.
