    Dobbo would have screened that.
Quite probably. I know Gillesphey’s pass, out on the left, was awful but worrying that we were then totally exposed in the middle with Conor nowhere near their lad.

But, it’s early pre-season and it’s up to Nathan and his team to sort these errors out as much as possible.

Was it Coventry who was out muscled on the ball & then ran through treacle trying to catch the goal scorer ?

Not been impressed with Gillesphey so far this pre season and another mistake today for their goal.
Was pony last year, people didn't want to admit it but he was a calamity at the back.
Definitely no better than the two we got rid of.
But as he was the one still under contract, he was the one we kept.
Need better this season that's for sure.

See they are charging a tenner for the game at AFCW...not unique to them, but pre-season friendly games should be free to enter, after all they are basically training sessions, and as such could be a good PR job from the club...

Unfortunately most clubs at our level can't turn down revenue streams, particularly when there is associated cost to putting on these games, even friendlies require stewards, electricity, safety/emergency staff  etc.

Fair enough, it is just a thought which maybe could get more new supporters interested, who would later take up season tickets etc, and contribute financially to the club that way... maybe a loss leader, speculate to accumulate...
    Anyway, just an idea...idealism personified...🙄

No chance people buy a season ticket because they got to go to a friendly for free

Any friendly I've ever been to would put me off ever going to a proper game.
    Friendlies are abysmal.

If you zoom in at the end of the video extreme left, you can just about see Chuks limping off.
I can’t be arsed to even look but doesn’t he always look like he’s limping nowadays?

As far as I can ascertain the game tomorrow will be at the Copers Cope Road training ground, similar to the Millwall game being at their training ground.

I can't even see Chuks, let alone whether he was limping.
I can't help thinking this is referring to a different video.

Give it a rest. He is fit - see Nathan's interview after today's game. Excellent goal and got 45 minutes.

    Squad is terrible

    Players don't care

    Owners are stingy

    Directors are clueless

    Jones sacked before Xmas

    Season's over already.

    Squad is solid

    Players really care

    Owners are generous

    Directors are building something

    Jones here for long term

Season's going to be a good one.

So Goztepe have played us, Dobbos non-club and now Luton in a week.

Was the game today in Slovenia? If so, interesting that they still use that facility

    Goztepe 1-3 Charlton

    Goztepe 2-2 Fehervar

    Goztepe 3-2 Luton

    We’re massive

Goztepe’s three goalscorers against Luton combined for zero goals against the mighty Addicks…

A Charlton XI are playing Sevenoaks Town on Wednesday. Presumably it'll mainly be u21s.

It is the U18's they are playing. We also have them play Broadbridge Heath.

Just had a good chat with Jason Pearce at Sevenoaks tonight.
Cafc have a team of first team scholars and they are all 16.
A game of men against boys tonight.
The Sevenoaks team are a totally new team with only one player left from last season.

Charlton haven't provided a squad list according to Sevenoaks twitter.

    Still 0 - 0
