This guys 80’s shorts are well, um, interesting…
I think that's Jake Reeves, Charlton fan at a young age, family lived round the corner from the World Of Leather roundabout

Update: Ahadmes knee support looks smaller and self-adhesive for those that worry….

Boring game. We need Ryan Inniss to come on and liven things up a bit  ;)

    Chuks looks knackered...
That's not a new look for him to be fair. He's always reminded me of the 6 million dollar man, when appearing to be running in slow motion. He's very effective at times but, does look to have the mobility of a cruise ship.

He used to have a turn of pace about him, especially in his MKD days and early days with us. He will still show a bit now and then, but he's a north-south runner and not quick on the turn. I'm sure a decade of leg injuries had impacted his mobility, and probably weighs on him mentally as well.

Edwards looked good. That's about it.
    But it's pre season

No need to stress it’s a tedious watch but pre season is what it’s about. Mitchell looks a class above for me I think he will be a great signing.

The pick of our players Edward.
    Anonymous Coventry.
Berry surprised at how small he is. He gets pushed off the easily and wins it back rarely.

pretty boring 45 minutes but still pre season.. Aneke decent but looks knackered now. Thought Edwards looked good too..

can’t be far off the starting XI for the season that? Maybe Ramsay for Watson, Small for Edward’s… and Ahadme starting ahead of Aneke?

On the one camera that only goes in close the once I'm still working out the CAFC midfield players. Good test against the Dons. Feels like a pre season friendly so players getting more minutes in their legs and brains.
One good early cross from Watson when Godden made connection with the ball and the defender's head.

A little low energy and a lot of long ball, largely bypassing midfield. Not too much combination play to speak of and no one is really getting their foot on the ball in the middle of the park.

Hopefully things will improve in the second half, kicking towards our supporters behind the goal. A decent turnout.

I'm sure Alfie will score many many goals this season, and we'll quickly hear about every single one of them.

I myself quite like hearing, and knowing how well ex-players get on. But adding to the argument: "Will we regret the decision" is already tiresome - Our season wont hinge on one individual.

As I said, NJ wanted the players in the first half to play 60 minutes. Except Chuks
