HMS Piss the League is ready to set sail but all the cabins are full and there’s not enough room for all the planned passengers. Departure has been delayed until a few passengers can be persuaded to board another vessel.
Perhaps we should get the Bandwagon MOTd

I think Edwards is more of a defensive wing back and Small a more attacking one. Good options to have depending on the opposition and the state of games..

    Exactly how I see it

Edwards got  himself 4 goals and 9 assists last season playing a mixture of LM, LB and CB.

Interestingly, all his goals and assists came when playing as a winger. Where he played most games.

Never would've guessed - not because I doubt his attacking ability but his defending seemed so solid this preseason

The idea we can take out the likes of Small and bring in Edwards, or take out Ahadme and bring in Leaburn/Godden/Kanu... is crazy. That's going to drive performances as they fight for a place.

Just goes to show you CAN have competition in the squad in L1. You don't need one set of first teamers and a bunch of squad players.
Or worse, remember when we had a squad of squad players? Matthews and Gunter trying to show who was the least worst option at right back.
I must’ve missed the bit when either of those two were trying.

Haha good point. Maybe Matthews when he wanted another year and Gunter when he first came in and we kept a few clean sheets - Inniss and Famewo were apparently the best CBs in the league  :)

LWB, not LM. He said himself he played almost all of last season at LWB

Edwards is said to have a very good long throw in, which we are yet to see.

I think you see one around the 4.20 mark.
