Well Done Bromley!

2-0 win at Harrogate in their first ever league game.

Goals from Cheek (surprised he hasn't played at that level before given his National /Conference goalscoring record) and K Grant. Is Karlan on loan from West Brom, has Kim made a comeback in his fifties or is it somebody unrelated?

Maybe in 1920 or 1921 when we played our first league game they might have done had the internet existed then.

That’s disappointing.  I thought it was Bromley of New Word Game fame.

It’s all lovely and cosy and “oh aren’t they doing well” until they beat us, then they’ll be just another South London derby.

Am in a bar watching Vasco v Fluminese, for some reason being played at Botofogo's ground.
However, it is on an artificial pitch, Palmeiras is the same.
If games can be played on 3g here and other countries it is a shame that Bromley cannot do the same.
    PS, I agree with @DaveMehmet

Just a league two Millwall with their BROMMMM

  • My local team, so I always look for their results. They are getting worryingly close to being a local rival to us.
Anyway good result and well done.

As I understand it, this is their first ever League victory. So it would be a magnanimous gesture to offer congratulations to a local football team.

    Well done Bromley.

(Sometimes you can just take blason populaire too far.)

Kamarl Grant is an ex Kinetic Academy boy and is having a successful loan at Bromley since Feb.
Not sure if Deji isn't fit as he only played 45 minutes in pre season and wasn't in the squad yesterday ?

They are already local rivals. I know a Charlton supporter who has not renewed his Charlton season ticket but bought a Bromley one.

Whilst we're at it, can I also wish the rest of our local league teams all the best for the coming season.

Especially Millwall aka the Rotherham of London. And Palace, let's all join hands and pray they make it in to Europe 🙏🏿

Bromley fc are now our local rivals; can you Adam and Eve it after being 6 divisions below CAFC 18 years ago.

I just assumed the young Guys wearing black at Hay lane had just come straight from a funeral.
