    With what some birds wear to the gym I'd be disinterested in most other gym things.

    I don’t know do I, might have been pissed if not being selected or whatever. Just sharing what my mate said, he is a Charlton fan and sees the boys at David Lloyd’s pretty much all the time and he’s alway chatting to them and commented on Lloyd Jones.

    Tbf I saw Alfie May out shopping in primark with his Mrs and he looked utterly disinterested. Confirms the suspicions that he’s off in the summer.

    If it is fact than that’s disappointing. Was the show filmed before he joined us, if not did the manager at the time agree to it. Very disappointing if a manager is taking action for something that happened before the manager and possibly the player joined the club

    He was resting his knee last season rather than being dropped by NJ.

    Good CB imo, had a dodgy month around Christmas but was our best defender before that.

    Glad to hear it. I think Jones has all the raw ingredients to be a good CB in this league. Especially when he's not got poor players beside and behind him.

    I had a good chat with Lloyd at the end of the season as we sponsored his shirt. He had been carrying  a knee injury for quite a while and he couldn’t carry on So he was removed from the firing line once we were heading towards safety.  

    Said he got a lot of stick from his teammates for the reality show which he did purely for money.  

    He’s happy enough with us and was looking forward to a proper season

    personslly I don’t think he’s the “leader” we were missing so I think that’s mantle will fall to Ghillspey or Mitchell.  Good defender but not a captain.  Needs to be led

    I really like Jones probably the most comfortable on the ball in the back 3 imo and should only improve with game time,hopefully as you say wisdom Mitchell will be the leader we need.

    Interesting that he says himself "we weren't enough on the ball, but it will come." Seems N. Jones has decided on making defensive solidity and effort across the pitch the main starting point and only then start trying to play more expensively... and honestly, fair enough.
