Lazy journalism… starts of by saying Charlton then finishes by saying looking at a number of clubs … no chance of Charlton being sold just started out on a project and invested large sums of money ..0

You come up with a plan to invest X amount of money to get Y return over certain period of time. If someone comes along and offers you your Y return much earlier than expected then the chances are you take it. Otherwise you will take a chance and hope you get more - call it Z - but that might end up being less than the Y you turned down.
No idea if these stories are true. But the notion that they wouldn't sell, just because theyve spent money and have a plan is bollocks, especially if they can turn a profit immediately. They're not in this for love. They dont have Charlton in their blood.3 -
It is on Football League World.
Sheffield United owner Prince Abdullah sets sights on Charlton Athletic takeover (footballleagueworld.co.uk)
I'd be surprised if there was anything in this given the recent investments in the club by the current ownership group. Could be wrong though.0 -
Just when you think things are settled down this happens.0
