Club legends Steve Brown and Kevin Lisbie have been appointed to head up Charlton’s new-look Ex-Players Association.

The Association has been set-up to reunite players who have represented the club. Brown and Lisbie will lead on coordinating social events for the former players, as well as events and matches to raise funds for the Charlton Athletic Community Trust and help create improved engagement with the club.

    Really pleased to see this has now been announced.

    A former or ex-players' has been long needed, the old one having been pretty much inactive since the death of Bernard Wickham.

    The museum have been speaking to Gavin Carter and Steve Sutherland about this for a while and look forward to being involved.

    My first ‘love’ is Paul Walsh - I really hope he joins this - little Lord Flash adored him him as a Charlton player - cried when we sold him (yes I did - my late Dad told me to ‘get a grip, he is only just a professional footballer’) 😀
