Bit of artistic license from Scott there. "First time we have had a set piece coach". Its the first time we've had a coach with that in his title sure but we've pretty much always had one of the first team coaches responsible for set pieces. When Bow was in charge it was Jacko.
It's not like we have a dedicated full time set piece coach. He is still first team coach as well so it's not like the responsibilities have changed. Just the title.
I wouldn’t want my name to be associated with our set pieces if I was him.
We were pretty good at them when Jacko was involved, since then we’ve been terrible
I was a little bit confused as to why there was a Keir Starmer tweet on a Curtis Fleming thread, but he's obviously been at one of the Downing Street events Starmer's hosted. The Community Trust also tweeted out today a bit with Fleming, Leaburn and Kanu at a local primary school relating to Give Racism The Red Card

You got your wish with 3 vital goals from corners from Gilbert and the never to be forgotten free kick from Macca✅
Goes under the radar a bit does our Curtis.Didn't see any footage or interviews with him after Wembley? I think he was a great acquisition and I really like listening to what he has to say.
He's an interesting character and has clearly formed an excellent and trusting relationship with Nathan Jones. I was sat near the home dugout for a game last year. It's very obvious how Jones behaves towards the fourth official, constantly on at them and questioning most decisions. However, Fleming was just as vocal but he delivered his comments in a calmer less public way, accompanied by some choice language and a death stare. Although he may appear as ying to Jones' yang he certainly has methods of getting his message across and dosen't look like someone to cross.

I think they're chalk and cheese. Which is probably why it works so well.

I think he probably works quite well with Jones in a bit of old fashioned "Good Cop/Bad Cop" style - someone who remains calm and composed while Jones is busy running marathons on the sideline and chewing his fingers off.
I think Fleming is also good after Jones has absolutely eviscerated a player at putting his arm round them and following on from all the screaming calmly. I've seen him a few times have a much more quiet conversation with the player Jones has screamed at and it looks like one impresses the importance onto the player (through screaming and jumping) and the other reinforces the actual message (through grown up words)
Great foil for Jones, perhaps the logical behind the passion. I am guessing that our improvement last season was partly as a result of him being given more say in team matters/selection. As I say, just a guess

Not itk, but heard Global Football Partners have completed a purchase of Kenilworth Road, just the paperwork left to do now. Announced on Monday.
Thank you Paul Hart for everything you have done for the club over the years.
Credit for getting involved though 👏
