    Had a great time chatting to him at the pre season breakfast event. Some cracking stories from the early 90s years - and we spoke fondly of his thunderbolt goal at the covered end v Bolton. Truth be told he said, he was so fucking knackered, that when Carlo laid it off, he had no choice but to hit it.

    Turned out pretty well!

    Great interview, loved his style of play, he reminded me a bit of Gazza, so it was fascinating to hear that he used to clean Gazza's boots.
    I met Kevin Keegan at a function out in Brunei when his Newcastle team were top of the League.
    I told him that I couldn't forgive him for stealing Robert Lee, but thanked him for giving us Big Fat Pete.

    Yeah, loved watching him play - had a bit of swagger about him - was playing for Jimmy Bullard's Vets team, One Bell, over the last few years and apparently was brilliant - sat in the middle controlling things. Good to see him back at Charlton.
