Hi all,
I might be selling a signed shirt. It’s the Mesh home kit from 1998, signed around Christmas 98 from all the squad.

Will absolutely kill me to sell it to be honest given it’s personal value to me involving my grandad who bought the shirt for me and died days after the play off final (hence how it became signed, very decent from the club as you’d expect from that time). However the last 12 months have been pretty horrendous for me and personal circumstances mean I have to consider it.
Not sure if anybody interested? I can get a picture of it over the next couple of days.
Cheers
forgot to add it’s got Kinsella and the number 8 on the back.

Sorry to read that you need to sell.
I'd suggest speaking to @cafc999 and @charltonnick about valuations and best ways to sell
Both are museum trustees so can give you a clear and impartial steer.6 -
Presume ebay is the best bet, prices for stuff like this are way down from the peak 2/3 years ago but still go for good money.1

I'll put in a tenner if that starts the ball rolling.

Good luck mate.
Also really sorry to hear you had to flog your collection, must have been hard. As a small consolation, at least you have the one that probably means the most to you.
I've had a couple of offers for mine but not selling it for peanuts, not matter how bad my situation is because of personal meaning.0 -
I also really appreciate the comments from people like Elfsborg, Gribbo and Northhead Addick. I realise there are a lot of good people on this forum but didn't start a sob story for handouts. I've had an incredibly tough last 12 months where I've lost my brother, had health issues (kidneys) and split up from my partner but there are still people out there in a much worse situation than me!
Thanks though for some nice thoughts. I'm stepping up the efforts to sell the shirt this week. I'll also be sorting out a load of my old programmes from 1998-2006. Obviously wouldn't be looking for any money for them but happy for them to go to a good home.1 -
Really hope you end up keeping the shirt mate, can see it means the earth to you...2

The shirt means a lot, but my grandad wouldn't want me suffering too much. I have gone down some other avenues and I'm not selling it for the sake of it, but it's looking like a viable option for the cash I need to get me through the next 6 weeks or so.
Appreciate the kind comment though, much appreciated.0 -
