Jones was asked about Potts in his press conference.

Decision to be made in a few days to paraphrase his words but very complimentary about the player.
Thought it was interesting that question was left in. Sounded to me a lot like he will be signing.

  • Happy with that, sensible that it is until January as well. The move suits both parties imo.

I think the improvement in MG’s
performances this season must in part be down to Potts being there to push him which will only increase now

Wondering if we might get a hint in the SLP pod if there’s an ep tomorrow
  • Someone made free agent 11v11 on Twitter and here are the available players.
Do any of the below stuck out as A: Achievable and B: likely signings.
The list isn’t exhaustive just players that played in the champ last year

Hennessy would be decent at our level. Joe Hart still available though.

Joe Hart is retired and working on MoTD now

Wonder if its Fleck as he's been a name mentioned a few times on here... Means we basically have six midfielders then.

Starters: Coventry - Docherty - Berry
Backup: Anderson - Campbell - Fleck

You have forgotten Taylor. Can’t see us signing another midfielder, it’ll be a keeper.

I could be wrong but I’m sure we were rumoured to be interested in John Fleck earlier in the window. So I’d have my money on him

It seems that Nathan is open to experienced free agent signings on short term contracts Another name to throw into the mix could be Sam Clucas who played under him at Stoke

Have I? - When was Taylor last used in a matchday squad under Jones?

He should be on the bench, what with Anderson away this weekend... But I'll be shocked

That isn’t the question though, he’s available and we didn’t get rid in the last window so he could play a part at some point. Then there’s Edun too.

Emi Marcondes would be an interesting one from those sides, Danish No10 that's had championship success at Brentford and Bournemouth.

How can anyone forget Taylor. However,  if you have, he will be like a new signing.

Gotta be a goal keeper. Hennessy or Randolph.

No chance when he scored against Nathan Jones he ran the length of the pitch to celebrate in front of him

Would have thought Simon Sluga was the more likely one

Didnt Cawley say it isn't a keeper.

Wonder if Wanxham will be tempted by Dele and Livermore, suits their image, 2 former big names more past it than not on a free.

That's just the sort of passion that Nathan likes, and needs...🤷‍♂️
