Were we watching the same Connor Coventry?
  • No surprise Ramsay got motm, I am surprised by Smalls rating though, seems very low when you consider he didn't do much wrong.

I think people forget he’s only just turned 20 and judge him as an experienced pro - he’s younger than tyrece Campbell / Leaburn ! If he was an academy graduate, his marks would be much higher, I would imagine - the disparity between his and Kayne Ramsey’s mark is a bit ridiculous, considering I thought both had solid but unspectacular games (likewise most of team / performance).

Personally, I thought Small had a very poor game and was the worst player on the pitch. Generally, I like him and think he can (and has) play much better than that.

He was poor in the second half.
  • I don't see how Small was the worst/2nd worst player on the field, when very little threat from Rotherham came down either flank. And he did stick a couple of reasonable crosses in, in the first half.

The likes of Godden, Docherty and Berry were all completely anonymous.
  • Ahadme feels a bit harsh to be at the bottom, he won lots of headers and held the ball up well. Yes he could have buried a chance but felt he worked hard enough and also not as bad as people are making out. Solid 7/10 from me for him

Last 4 League games he has been bottom of the marks on here

The Wigan game the only time he has not been bottom but only one position further up the rankings

Yep i am only judging this game, i haven't watched the rest. I did think he did ok, whilst not amazing definitely not the worst, however maybe there is some bias based on the previous games?

maybe a 7 is a bit high but around mid table from the match from me.

I based it on him missing an open goal by a country mile, being unable to control the ball and being unable to stay on his feet when he had the ball. Clown shoes.

That might the biggest gap between a MOTM rating and runner up, where the MOTM themselves scored less than an 8?
