    Alan Devonshire 
    Not sure he's a late bloomer. He made his West Ham debut aged 20 and got England caps aged 24.
    But he was working a factory job just before that. Remember a documentary about it

    Sasa Ilic? Not sure if it's late for a keeper. 
  • Souleymane Diawara..... after that unsuccessful spell with us (I liked him tbh but wrong time wrong place), he grew into a big career in France. And joined Marseille aged 31 before playing 150+ times for them.

    I still find it hard to believe that I saw him play for Stamco in September 1997.  Eight months later he was playing for us in the greatest game ever.
