    Loved Randall and Hopkirk.

    RIP Kenneth.
  • Iconic role as Marty Hopkirk, I don't know anyone of the right age who didn't love that show. Great in Carry on at your Convenience too. RIP Ken.

Fantastic actor in all genres of this field. RIP.
  • RIP

  • That’s how I remember him. He died in peace so he should be resting there too unless Barbara exists there as ’Peggy’

Randall & Hopkirk is currently showing on Great TV, actually 10pm tonight.
I watched part of an episode the other night out of curiosity and it was bilge, the false backgrounds etc were unbelievably bad.
  • I’m sure you’re right about it being ‘bilge’ etc. The same  could be said for other iconic 60s progs like The Saint, Danger Man, and The Baron (Crossroads!), but  you should consider that it didn’t feel that way at the time. I used to watch R & H with my Mum when I was about 10. It was my favourite programme and it seemed like magic when Hopkirk would appear on screen. We have lovely sophisticated TV now, but those were the days!

I used to like it as well as a kid, which was why I watched the start of an episode a few days ago.
I fully intended to watch the whole episode and perhaps many more, but it was so bad.

Have been watching some of the recent re-runs of Randall and Hopkirk. Great entertainment. RIP.
  • Jed Stone was an iconic Corrie character and as a big Carry On fan it's sad to see another cast member gone.

    RIP
