Hastings fish

Any locals who can tell me if they still sell fresh fish off the beach. If not where’s the best place to get some.

  • There are a couple of shops by the net drying sheds at the Old Town end. Also a few places in Dungeness, one on the road towards the lighthouse and another on the opposite side of the level crossing to the Pilot pub.

I'd recommend the stuff out the sea rather than off the beach.

Look behind the fishing huts next to the model railway...you will find some fresh stuff there ..it might not be what you want but it will be fresh off the boats

A couple of weeks ago I bought some dressed crab and prawns from the shop near the Fisherman's museum, it was delicious.
