BalladMan said:U11 match last year. Our teams parents are very respectful overall (I am probably the most vocal of the lot). Decision went against the other team for a penalty (50/50 at best), one of our parents is the ref (which happens a large proportion of the time). Parents on the opposing team make their disapproval known, firstly by shouting, then by making gun finger actions at our parents (fairly unprovoked other than a bit of banter). We were playing away and the home ground we are at was in Orpington, so not the ghettos of south east London.
Some people need therapy.
Funny place Orpington. Very suburban and dull in many parts but has a very unsavoury element and has done since I grew up there that stops it from being a Tunbridge Wells.
Not Brixton of course as you point out but there are still parts of Orpington and surrounds that I'd be wary of wandering down on the wrong day.
(But then i have moved from there and emigrated to the countryside so am soft as shit these days in that respect).1 -
What a thoroughly depressing thread0

One week with no beer / cigarettes / dope / football on TV ( delete as appropriate) for you. Go to your room and don't come down until you've thought it over and decided to apologise.1 -

That's right up there with "I've paid all my taxes" and getting a £1million fine.3
