For all his effort he's clearly a liability...

"And when Bailey twice couldn't clear the danger on the left in the 42nd minute the Saints took a deserved lead."

  • tbh i thought he looked very leggy and maybe there was more truth in the injury than i first thought, just after halftime i was saying he should take a break and put mcleod on for a 442

He didn't have a good game yesterday but for what he has done over the last year I'm willing to forgive him, only once though, Nicky you better pull your finger out! ;-) I don't think it helped in the first half when every attack we tried seemed to go through Sam, I thought their right back looked very average and Baily/Youga should have been given the ball more often to exploit him

Would have put Basey on the left in second half or McLeod for his pace up top with Shelvey or Sam on left. Bailey was not at it yeserday but did have an injury and in a postion that is not his favoured, we can't expect 8 out of 10's every week

    shelvey left and mcleod on
  • He was carrying an injury and didn't look 100% to me.
  • I am surprised Parky didn't bring McLeod on for 15-20 minutes, I think we could have won it. JonJo always looks out on his feet at the end of the match, it seems unfair to ask a 17 yo to do as much running a he does, often twice a week for 90 minutes.
