Agree with Henry and whatever happens (as long as he doesn’t go to any of the nearby riff raff) I’ll keep an eye on his career and wish him well. He’s been great to watch and the family connection has been a real bonus. If we have another 6 months of him scaring defenders like he did on Saturday then I’ll enjoy every minute of it I can0

Weren't Brentford heavily linked last summer? Could see that one being a possibility. Signed a Brazilian striker in the summer from Club Brugge who's already injured and the rest of their forward options aren't the greatest.1

Although of course that won't stop a side like Brentford moving for him, as they'd then just loan him to the Championship.3 -

Yeah I wouldn't expect him to go straight into a prem squad with a January move type thing , but he's got such an interesting skillset with his height and ability that I think a prem side would take a punt after a loan spell somewhere else (hopefully back with us).
Fee who knows???0 -

he's worth whatever someone will pay for him - we all think he's worth £10m+ but he's in the last year of his contract.
If he's sold in Jan I'd expect 7 figures but certainly nowhere near what we'd hope for
He's a very easy 'punt' for anyone in the Prem0 -

I like Leaburn and he was a handful on Saturday, but he wasn't particularly good on Saturday. Understandable given he hasn't played properly for so long, but i do think some people are playing into the narrative of him being back fit rather than taking the game as a one off.1

He’d be a massive success in Germany if that kind of move interested him at all.6

Bundesliga would be a great fit for him stylistically. The rate they're snapping up young English talent I could see that being a very real possibility. Shame the fee would be peanuts.0 -
Has he managed to build up his upper body while off injured? He looks stronger than I remember and was easily overpowering their CB.

He should be offered a lucrative contract, with a significant release clause, allowing him to leave Charlton for a big club if he continues to develop, but giving him a platform at Charlton in the mean time.
Most importantly though - and I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet - it's crucial that he has at least one son, preferably soon.17 -

It wouldn't suprise me if he goes on to bang 20 goals this season and gets a big money move in the summer.2 -
I think the family link to the club, with his mother working for the club, means that when Miles does leave, and he will, it is likely to be on good terms. I would expect that to be in the summer unless we go up or he gets injured again.0

If previous behaviour is anything to go by, I can see the board looking to cash in on him in January if a new contract is not close to being signed.
Call me mental too, but I think he’s a better all round player than Stansfield, he’s a year younger than him too, and look how much Birmingham paid for him. Leaburn under a decent length contract is worth millions to us and just the same with how our chances of success on the pitch improves with Miles in the team.2 -

Leaburn has done none of that yet.11 -

I think it is also a distinct possibility, like the sale of Karlan Grant... Compensation would only apply if he stayed in England, so if there's a cash offer in Jan it would be hard to turn down...2 -

Looks like the amount would be somewhere in the region of 300k-400k Euros compensation. So from a purely financial perspective, at what point does it become better to take the money and lose him 4 months early? £750k-£1M? Maybe more if we're actually pushing for promotion?
