Help With Desk Top Publishing

A friend of mine helps to edit/write a local residents newsletter. They just been using a glorified WP programme currently. It's voluntary stuff so they really can't afford to shell out on expensive software.

Does anyone recommend any freebie or inexpensive (less than £30 software?

    If you can run to Microsoft Office Publisher, it's a brilliant piece of software.

    I used to like Serif Page Plus, but I've not needed to use anything like that for about 10 years so I'm not sure what it's like these days. You can download a free version here though to try it out.
