Our attack has been woeful all season. Bollocks were dropped in both the outgoings and incomings.

Can see Leaburn on for TC second half, nothing wrong with TC's first half, but more physicality needed up top

Wrexham definitely been more physical on TC than our other players, and often he's had two players on him as soon as ball comes to him.

Almost 8000 people watching the Goldbridge stream…
  • Load of gash. Wrexham are there for the taking and we're completely incapable of doing it. Weak in the middle and Jones looks a bigger miss each game
  • It would be helpful if our players could pass the ball forward to other Charlton players
  • Wrexham aren't a bad team but they really are nothing special.

Sadly you could say the same about us.

We're powder puff light in attack although Campbells speed is proving a thorn in their side.
But we need Leaburn on to give us a physical threat . Let's hope he's up to 30 minutes today.

A little aside (And I say this with great respect for Tel): Is anyone else watching on CharltonTV finding Tel quite difficult to understand?
There seem to be periods of mumbling followed by occasional clear words. It’s like listening to Rowley Birkin QC 😂

(No offense meant @KillersBeard just sometimes find what you’re saying a bit unclear, that’s all.)

    100%, our passing is woeful
  • Interesting hearing the Coaches talking about the Mount Pleasant lads from when they came over and faced our U16s, with one 14-year old from there able to keep up with the training that our own lads do.

Imagine we'll be keeping tabs on him

Great seeing the Mount Pleasant lads on the pitch. Don't look old enough to be postmen though.

Jesus... the referee going down injured has made the highlights package at HT.

Says it all about that 1st half

Edit: Jesus, they managed to squeeze in the referee sub as well... Gripping stuff

Havent paid much attention to Wrexham's results this season, was expecting more from them given their hype but theyre just a typical league one team so far, solid and well organised, look hard to break down and not done much going forward other than have Mullin fall over.

    Which sounds suspiciously like.... us..

Would get Leaburn on for Anderson and drop TC in behind to work across the line.

I liked the kid at the end saying it was a dream come true to play in a stadium like this and he hoped it was the first of many games for him here at The Valley.

Even if no-one makes the grade in the end in this partnership, giving opportunities to kids like this to have a chance when they normally wouldn't get anywhere close to a shot at professional football is a very important thing
  • Leaburn coming on by the looks of it. Has just had a shout, grabbed his shirt and ran down the tunnel.

Pretty even first half, apart from Lee hitting the bar, about right. Still think our defence looks wobbly, this time Mitchell being the poorer of the middle two. Don't concede and then put the pressure on, Leaburn and??????? Hylton could make the difference

  • So pleased for the lad who did the crossbar challenge, just had a baby girl a few days ago. £1500 will help.

Why does the Sky deal mean we have to revert to an amateur TV production at half-time. WTF?
