Sounds like Southend are creating a few chances from crosses but havent had the quality or calmness according to the BBC Commentary.
They're impressed with Godden though1 -
Huge let off for Charlton and Leaburn. Addicks striker makes a hash of clearing a cross, drops for Crowther who fires over from six yards out.

BBC Comms... Seems like Charlton are happy to let Southend come at them, because they feel we have the quality to hurt them if we can breakaway with it1

Being let off by some questionable finishing. Had about 3-4 scares in our box. Mitchell showing he's not quite ready yet imo
