    Cheers Salad :)

I have to agree with Rothko tho. Think the use of it on the sky sports advert is quality.

I like the Jamie T track. The others are abit too slit ya wrist for me. More of a dance music man.

  • Tell you what, the new Muse album is f***ing ace - ridiculously pompous and overblown, and like a Queen tribute album at times - but utterly awesome nonetheless.

I checked out Uprising and it is pretty good but I find with Muse that several songs, or a whole album, is too much to listen to - like you say they are a tad overblown!

    Good shout

Also Vlad The Impaler by Kasabian (If we're talking singles then go for Fire)
    White Lies - Death
    The Twang - Barney Rubble
King of Leon - Use Somebody (but like the rest of their last album has been wallaped on the radio way too much)
    Deadmau5 -I Remember
Green Day - Know your Enemy
    MGMT - Kids
The Enemy - Sing When You're in Love
Jamie T - Sticks n Stones (sounds very squeeze though)

The Muse track is good too, and I'm digging Little Boots' stuff although it is incredibly poppy and not really my thing as a rule

Check out Jewellery Quarter too, I'm biased as I love the Twang but it's a non skipper and that is always a goood thing.

Empire of the Sun — We Are The People

That's my song of the year. Someone will probably say it's from 2008 now! I'm a bit out of touch with modern music.

    Love that song!

Can't quite work out whether I like E.O.T.S or not?! Remind me of Air a bit, but with added French Disco-Housey type stuff smeared over it all!

    Jack Penate - Tonight's Today

    Kings Of Leon - Closer

    Aikira Kiteshi - Pinball

    Jamie Vex'd - Radiant Industry

    Connection - Solitude
