Okay, answer me this. Is it true a basket on the front makes you go faster?
    I’d say no.

But a big logo emblazoned food bag on your back makes you a menace to other road users (and pedestrians come to that) ! 🙂
  • I bow to your greater cycling knowledge, but 50 minutes seems under-training when a race is four hours?
What 'race' are you talking about? And what relevance does that have to a 70 year old?

Are you an extremely early beta AI?
  • I believe Leroy is a cycling coach so I am looking forward to this
You need to get out more... 🤣

Being a roadie myself I remember things like this 👍🏻
  • I'm pretty sure Prague is after an anaerobic training experience rather than attempting the Col de Mentè.
  • Are "Airdyne" bikes any good? Looks like they work your arms as well

How do you know for (pretty) sure? The greatest road sprinter has just retired so there's a vacancy - and I'm sure green would suit Prague.
  • Hi!

I've got a LifeFitness C3 (and an Elliptical E1).  Very solid, commercial quality in my layman's opinion.  Enough variation on workouts for me and no doubt current ones will have moved on.  Most importantly, very smooth and easy on the joints.  Had them for 8 and 5 years respectively.

I would check that you have people that can service them as the bike has needed one service and the elliptical needs one now.  I'm in the gym most days, so these are getting used about 3 times a week.

Have you ever seen an exercise bike made since about 1990?
  • I could understand Prince Andrew, the man that doesn’t sweat, using an exercise bike in his home but any other man using one to full effect and adding a lingering ‘eau de perspiration’ to the ambience of their household probably isn’t necessarily going to be that popular.
