Online shop and valley gold

Quick and hopefully easy question guys.

I'm trying to get a few things on the online shop. I have valley gold but cant see how to get my discount appied. I've tried simply entering my VG number in the promotional code box but no luck

Do you have to shop in store to get the discount?

    The system is simple.
You get enticed to join Valley Gold with the promise of discounts.
    You join.
The system makes getting discounts impossible.
  • Are you supposed to get discounts in the club shop if you are a valley gold member?

Just by producing a valley gold card at the tills in the club shop?

You also have to first memorise, then speak the magic words. They change on a daily basis. Yesterday's code phrase was 'Mr Tony Keohane is a wonderful and non bullying manager'.

Yes - show the card and they apply the discount.

I think the OP wants help online, not physically visiting the club shop.

Does anyone know how to do this?

I called the Club Shop who said the accounts can be linked and the discount gets applied automatically, but they didn't know how!
  • I'm pretty sure it doesn't apply online,  only in person in the shop.

A member of staff when I called this morning said the discount could be applied online when accounts are linked…. But didn’t know how it works.
