Prem side at home please. Although we'll probably end up away at Wigan or something.

Parker would get an interesting reception! Cullen's first time back too. Shame JBG went to Saudi

Anyone know why it’s the 11th? As far as I can remember it’s always been the first ‘weekend’ in Jan?

Big prem side at home - mainly as my boy is desperate to watch us play one.

or a London prem side away day, preferably Spurs

It's not always the first weekend, it depends when.tje bank holiday is.

    Charlton v Norwich- 09.01.22
    Colchester v Charlton 09.01.16
    Tottenham v Charlton- 09.01.11

I don't think we've got past the 3rd round in ten years, since Powell got sacked.

Parker would get the same (not) welcoming reception he always gets. How is that interesting?
  • My choices are Manchester City Away, Arsenal Away, Tottenham away, West Ham at the Valley, Palace at the Valley, Leicester at the Valley, Ipswich at the Valley, Leeds Away, Plymouth Argyle at home.

    We are ball number 46.

Er, yeah that’s why I said ‘weekend’. The 4th is a completely normal weekend this year.

All those seasons where we managed to reach the dizzy heights of the third round!

What do you mean that was the first round we were in for most of them because we were in the Second Division?

So many seasons where we've fallen at the first hurdle ... disgraceful ☹️

Its shameful the amount of times we've lost to "poor" teams. Your could say the only good sides we've lost to are Spurs & Norwich - with the later being bottom of the Prem at the time & put out a second string side. West Brom were in our league & Sheff U were only a league above. Compare that to the lower League sides we've lost to.

Also......if we do happen to draw one if the "top" sides I dont expect them to be playing their first 11. I can't imagine seeing Saka, Rice & Ostergard lining up for Arsenal against us.

A big PL team away for the day out or a smaller PL team at home ie Palace, Saints who we might have a chance of beating. Saying that we could beat Saints away the way they are playing.

Hearing that Wrexham could be reinstated as their 1st round exit didn't fit the Hollywood narrative.

So, Wrexham at home for me with special edition half and half FA Cup scarves and mittens.

Granted we'll lose as the script ultimately has Wrexham beating Liverpool in the final with Ryan Reynolds scoring a screamer in the 95th minute to secure the win but I can live with that, if only to have The Valley nearly full again.

Not sure Rooney would be doing the tunnel jumps.

Everton away is the dream tie, never been Goodison and this is the last season to do so.

Failing that, I'd like Tamworth or Dagenham away, ground ticks and winnable ties.

After that, City, Liverpool, Arsenal etc away, anything else, I'd rather Walsall had won.
