Well the size of the crowd shows hiw much optimism we have for todays game!. How can Jones manage to alienate so many fans so quickly, and destroy the optimism created over the summer.
I guess he had good practice at Stoke and Saints.

No idea why, but she wanted to be here... so we're here.

It's terrible seeing the young inflict psychological torture on themselves.
But it's nice to see a Dad be willing to inflict it on himself at his daughter's request.

There are more flag wavers now in front of the LLC stand.

I think they've been threatened: wave a flag now or we'll drag you back for the two Christmas fixtures ...

Can anyone explain why we need the sprinklers on to water the pitch? It's not as though we play on the f***ing deck bow, is it?

    HOOF!
    Maybe hoping to waterlog it?

    Dear Messrs Methven and Rodwell.

Please observe the size of today’s crowd as an indicator of our faith in your managerial and recruitment policies. And before you suggest it, people do Christmas shopping on line these days.

Already out at 55, we might actually kickoff on time!

They're out so early we didn't have RRR lined up

The players couldn't bear to hear more of Jones the Guff and just walked out of the dressing room, collecting the oppo and ref on the way.

Literally no-one cheering the names as they're announced before the match, tells you all you need to know
  • Not convinced the shape a deployment of the players will work, but at least, in TC, Small, and Kanu, we finally have a bit of pace in the team. Small and, particularly, TC need to be operating much more on the wing and far less at the back if this is going to work though.

People need to be entertained how many times this season have we had that feeling when someone does something exciting ala CBT etc ? The answer is none ! Total anti football borefest delivered. Hopefully todays lineup means we might atleast try to play football

OK, I'm off. Good luck all, and I'll see you in the post match thread.
  • First shock of the day: players lined up for kick off AND HAVING TO WAIT UNTIL 3PM TO START.

We're kicking the right way first half.

This kicking off on time thing is getting weird.
  • And we kick off...and it's still 0-0...👍

Positives: Deji Oshliaja being on the pitch is a pleasant reminder we no longer have Deji Oshilaja.

(When he scores it's not my fault)

    Corner comes to nothing.

    What a surprise....
  • Small's low cross is headed behind.

First corner goes to us ... that must be worth a point?

TC plays in Anderson who's first touch is awful and he ends up getting too close to the keeper for the shot. Deflected for a corner
