In memory of Simone White

My 28 year old niece passed away last month from methanol poisoning whilst on holiday in Laos.
Some of you may have seen this on the national news.

My brother who has Parkinson’s Disease has just opened a just giving page in her memory.

It would be a stretch to describe Simone as a Charlton supporter, but she had a fondness for Charlton and did attend some games.

If anyone is feeling generous I’m putting a link below.

Enjoy your lives to the full because we do not know what tomorrow will bring.

Thats awful news and I'm terribly sorry for yours and your families unfair loss. A very admirable thing to raise money for 2 such worthy causes in Simone's memory
  • Sorry to hear that mate. A friend at work was friends with her at university.

Lost for words. RIP young lady
  • Sleep tight, Simone.
  • Such an awful tragedy and so difficult to comprehend. The fund, which I see has already substantially surpassed its initial target, will hopefully continue to grow and serve as a lovely legacy in helping sufferers of Parkinson's (my wife was diagnosed with it some 30 years ago but it one of the "lucky" ones in that it hasn't manifested itself as yet to any great degree) and those children at Great Ormond Street Hospital too. Sincere condolences to you, Neil, Sue, Zak and all of Simone's family and friends.

    RIP Simone
  • So terribly sad. Rest in peace, Simone.
  • A sad loss, too young. I read about it at the time as I know one or two people at the law firm where she worked.

Very sad news CE, let's hope those responsible for her death are duly punished and that other young people become aware of the dangers which can sometimes occur during foreign travel .. RIP Lovely Simone and all the very best to your brother
