Anyone know if they’ll be tickets for sale at the ground on the day?
Remaining tickets will be available to purchase (cash and card) from Sixfields Stadium on matchday, with a £1 price increase.

  • Mansfield lost 5 on the bounce and brought 1,552 to us 3.5hr journey 160 miles
Charlton to Northampton 2hr journey 89 miles

yes The Valley is a new ground for most of Mansfield but come on they’re small fry as a club .

1.2k to Northampton is reasonable for us

Most of them live in London or south east. There's 18 in my office alone and 15 working in the Pret next door not to mention the 30 or so I see on my morning commute so that gives context as probably only 5 or so travelled from Mansfield

    😉
  • I can remember when we took less than 100 to Saints game before their Bobby Stokes cup final and we were playing reasonable football. Given the cost, proximity to Xmas and the dross served up for years Im amazed that more than 500 can be bothered. lots cant even be bothered to use their home season tickets.

I don’t know why anyone bothers to rise to @oohaahmortimer when he bleats on about our away support. Surely doing it for attention? No better than our old friend Ronnie

I just add a little perspective to the numbers , nothing made up , just facts

Cracking bit of fishing by @Taxi_Lad though! :)
  • 1200 to anywhere a few days before Xmas in the form we are in is pretty good imo

    Still never done Northampton

    Next season I suppose

Hope the faithful get rewarded 👍

Any thoughts on pubs when off the train?

Go for as many as you can to ease the on pitch display.

Depends how early you are, if you’re after real ale; Albion Brewery Tap (10 mins walk back to town away from direction of Sixfields), otherwise between station and ground there are several, and expect plenty in Sevens at the bottom of the hill by the Saints - or the tavern at the top of the hill, although could be a home pub.
