    Proud to be a member of the great CAFC family at this festive time. Have been an active supporter since 1958 and still haven't given up hope! Christmas greetings from Heathfield, East Sussex. Maybe we'll all have something to celebrate in the new year.

    My daughter got me an Arsenal v Charlton programme from March 1954. Fascinating reading, most notable for us being 7th in Division 1 and the programme writer wishing Tottenham the very best of luck in their forthcoming cup game and hoping that they do a good job representing London. 
    It also had this very sweet piece about big Sam.

    It's been a very challenging year. I hope the new year is a bit less complicated.

    Others have thoughtfully shared it's been tough and whilst we all offer our considered kind thoughts, we can only ever feel our own pain and sometimes despair. Feeling ones own troubles is both necessary and essential. Don't deny them. Denial never served anyone well.
