Girlfriend is going away on work for a month next week so I'm looking to take her away for the weekend. Anyone got any suggestions?

    Llubjana in slovenia is a nice small city as is Riga latvia (avoiding the stag do's), also lisbon is only a couple of hours away

    Leeds in early October is nice.

    The leaves should be turning to gold, and the food and the people are lovely.

    Seville or Valencia are nice.
    Alternatively save your money and have a boys weekend away 2 weeks later.

    Seville is awesome for a couple, weather nice still as well.

    As not, try Venice or at home the Cotswolds !
