These off away days. How come teams never have then at the Valley?
I was just thinking that. Nobody ever makes it this easy for us.

I don’t care if it kills him, bring Chuks on at half time.

Just look at the bench and don't see any players that would make a huge impact. Allan Campbell and Karoy aren't going to grab a game by scruff of the neck and drag us back into this. Godden, Chuks and DK last 20 if it was close would make sense but that's it really.

I think Lloyd spent too long watching his agent's video on Instagram.  Beginning to believe his own hype.

And now over to highlights of us turning over Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal.
Lol! Just what we need to remember the great days under Curbs and how we have managed to fall so far as a club.

I nailed that first half , saw the first 15 mins and fell asleep just after they scored their second and awoke a minute before Leaburn scored ours . Thank goodness for our complete dullness , which helps bore me to sleep like I’m sure I do most people .

When I saw the team on Tuesday night is when I started worrying for today. This group has played a lot of football in the last month. A lot of it good, mind, but with a run of Saturday-Tuesdays I wish Jones would have rotated more in the cup. I know that's not a popular opinion, and we played pretty well at Preston, but the minutes were going to catch up to this team eventually and I think it has today.

Nice finish from Miles but everyone looks knackered physically and mentally. To not even hold the 2-1 into halftime says it all.

Also, a word for Rotherham, this is a good squad with a begrudgingly good manager in decent nick who are good at home. There's no shame losing to them by the odd goal. But the performance today is not that.

This is just a midtable season really, will win some games and look good. Will lose some games and look poor.

This is one of the poor ones.

we’ve got them right where we want them.  They have been lulled.  COYR, I mean COY sort of washed out yellows.

Brownie keeps banging on about them being this and that. I think they look just as Shite as any other team in this pub league and it’s purely down to our own undoing. Defence is all over the place!!
It’s as simple as this. We’re crap. It’s Leaburn and a bunch of chancers. I include the manager in that.

Not watching the game, but seeing rating of 4.2 for AMB, worse than Jones rating - is he to blame for goals?

The Welsh (tactical marvel) Jones needs to hook off the catastrophe that is Lloyd Jones cos even REG isn't actually worse than the tripe he's served up today
Fatslug Evans's cloggers will shut up shop again now their 2 goal lead is restored and we'll be subjected to relentless interruptions, 'injuries' and time wasting.

Might as well lose 4 or 5 so all out attack is required doing what we do best i.e. fast breaks down either wing so: Edwards off for Godden - Small down the left, TC down the right, Godden up with ML, bring Chuks on for Doherty with 20 minutes to go  and Karoy on for Coventry as soon as he fouls again cos dickhead Drysdale loves a red card

    Football managing's easy innit?

Don’t know what’s gone on behind the scenes this week but team spirit seems non-existent. They are very tetchy with each other.
They will be fine in the second half,a cup of tea and a few hobnobs and they will come out looking like Barcelona .

HT 3-1 …. Story of the first half one offside goal , two mistakes by Jones and a pen not given to us …
People will moan at Nathen Jones but what could he do today, two individual errors and a poor ref

yes I'll moan at NJ, he could have set the team up to counteract a team that plays the Evans way and and for the allegedly offside goal it was still there to be defended but wasn't due to our poor defence

Anderson might because he'd be willing to get stuck in, win the ball high up the pitch like for our goal and we have a chance

Brownie, shut up man giving credit to Rotherham...we can see it ourselves...back three not at it...
Ah, he's not being objective, is he? What a traitor.

  • Almost every ball that's been swung into our box has found a Rotherham head or foot. That's not how it has been lately.

Jones is having a shocker and if we had a replacement, he'd be hooked at halftime. Sadly he's the best in his position so will stay there.

An even second half and 3-1 result would flatter us right now.

Possession 50.7 for them and 49.3 to us.
    11 shots to our 5
4 on target to our 2

Given an undeserved lifeline just before half-time and we still manage to blow it in the 5th minute of injury time. We’ve been a shambles at the back and almost non-existent elsewhere. We’ve struggled to put a couple of passes together and Rotherham have won practically every 50/50.

At the very least, we need to come out and show a bit of fight and desire in the second half. If we don’t, we could be on course for a real hiding.

If this is a long tetm project by the Board to turn things around then hell would've frozen over by then!

Dreadful, season over, mid table nothingness and signings this month non existent.

They don't deserve us as fans.
  • Doesn't look like an "almost Championship level squad" to me. Hopeless first 45mins.  Rotherham are ordinary but just a lot stronger with far more desire.
When you see Lloyd Jones outmuscled by Andre Green you know you are in for a long afternoon.
