Lovely finish Matty Godden. That goes in whether it’s Championship or League One level.
    beat me to it

Gillesphey v Wilks is the most obvious mismatch I’ve ever seen. And Mitchell v Green hasn’t been much better.

Rotherham put together the perfect plan to expose the problems of our defenders.
i.e. 1) turn up - 2) with the ball move towards Charlton's so called defenders - 3) watch them shit themselves as you glide past undisturbed

90+2' Godden scores our second. Allan Campbell wins the ball and the forward finds the back of the net with a pinpoint finish.

Outclassed and thrashed by Rotherham United.

What a time to be alive.
Look on the bright side... we smashed Rotherham 4-1 here in the Championship, we got relegated they stayed up

So imagine this means we're guaranteed to avoid relegation now.
Oh dear. Godden’s just condemned us to relegation! 😉

Today the bottom fell out your world.

Still think Godden and Leaburn is our best strike partnership but you'll never get the best of someone like Godden without signing a creative player.

At this point it’s not even that - it was pretty much lob the ball over the top, Gillesphey will be 5 yards too far forward and he’s never catching Wilks. Happened too many times for it to be a coincidence.

scoring this late on is just rubbing salt in and saying - look we can do it but generally can't be arsed, doesn't help having the team picked by a hatstand gobshite chancer

But it comes at the cost of losing the pace, width and energy that TC or Small bring. I’m not sure you can fit them both in and start both Godden and Leaburn. I don’t see Jones only playing two CMs.

Dreadful, lucky to have the score as close as it was.
Out managed by Evans, out played by Rotherham, and probably mentally fatigued as much as anything because of Tuesday.
Nearly every player was poor with one or two climbing up as high as below average.

It's not flattering, but we weren't quite as bad as people are making out, they just have a ton of experience.
  • Blimey.  They don't waste any time sorting the nets out.
    Players still on the pitch.

Or does that happen at The Valley as well and I haven't noticed?
  • Thank you all for the updates.

There's a lot of improvement needed in the squad.  And we all know how much of that will happen this window.

So I think I'll just have to prepare myself for the thrill of another season in the Third Division next season.

Have a great remainder of the weekend.
