It's a brutal set of consecutive away games we face , in terms of the travel required for both players and fans.

Preston, Rotherham and Bolton within 8 days, then after 2 home games the next away game is at Blackpool.

Somehow managed to convince 5 Premier League team supporting friends to come and watch this one. They're going to be in for a treat

I'm going with friends from Blackpool.
We have booked hospitality seats so I'll have to sit on my hands as we bang in the goals.
Staying at their house overnight and off to the Lakes on Sunday. Train home on Monday.
It's the reason retirement was invented.

The football ground hotel is fantastic to stay in too. The breakfast room/bar (called the corner flag) gives you a great view of the ground. Not that much more expensive than most places unless you want a grubby B&B. Travelodge is great too only 10 minute walk to the town centre and the front.

Looks bloody lovely, but it's 135 fkn smackers a night mate, double the price and the rest of a BnB.

    It's getting better.
My other two housemates from university (1976 to 79) are coming over, one from Middlesbrough and the other from Coventry, to see the game.
    Should be a great weekend.
